The Gills in Malawi

The kids here don't have any toys at all.  If they are lucky they may get a cuddley toy but apart from that nothing. 

They are so creative that they make their own toys out of things that they find lying around.  It always blesses me when I see what the kids have made and just how creative they can be.

This is a car that one of the boys from our day care made with his friend.  He told me it took him a day to make it.  Isn't it amazing!  Sahdreck made this but he is not in the photo.  You can even steer the car in the direction you want it to go with the attached stick!
