Firstly I would like to thank those who have responded to the post on the flood. We are thankful for your prayers and also your donations. Just giving a little can help a lot. The situation is bad but we serve a big God and nothing is to difficult for Him.

Our trip back to Malawi was good, we had no problems at the borders at all, which we were very thankful for as we did not want to have to unpack the car and re pack it! Thank you Lord! We arrived back on Saturday the 15th to no internet, thankfully it had been raining so it was cooler. Paul was able to fix the internet problem after a couple of days so we were happy to have contact with the outside world once again

Since being back we have found the devaluation of the kwacha to have not only hit us with a huge increase in food prices but also the local people. There is a record high for the price of a bag of maize of MK3700 (£15.50), a lot of people don't even earn this much in a month. The fuel situation seems to be no better if not worse than before we left, we stood in a queue for several hours the other day for a small amount of fuel, not even a full tank!

Hope Village is green, after a lot of rain we have had. The children are all doing well and the staff, it was great to see our friends again. Repair work is being carried out on our first 2 children’s homes and they are looking great.

Since returning we have fresh challenged to face. The first is to help Iso Village recover from the flooding that destroyed so many homes. We also found out that 2 of the babies homes we support have fallen down so that is something we will be looking at. The school work will be continuing thanks to funds we have received and as always we face many daily challenges.

Please continue to remember us in your prayers, we really do need them.
