The Gills in Malawi

Praise God!!!!  We got fuel today!  We are very very happy!  I had a feeling yesterday that we would get some and on our way back from dropping Les off in Blantyre we saw the delivery truck at our local fuel station so pulled in to see what they were delivering.  It was diesel but we were told to come back in the morning as they were closing.  So at 6am we went along and filled the car up.

The planned demonstrations have been cancelled!  I don't know the full reasons but know that there was a threat of the army being brought in from Zimbabwe to take care of it.  This is a quote from a circular we received today

 'If any riot damage occurs as a result of an assembly or a demonstration, every organization on behalf of or under the auspices of which the assembly or demonstration was held, the convener, and every person participating in the assembly or demonstration, as the case may be, shall be liable for that damage as a joint wrongdoer together with any other person who unlawfully caused or contributed to such riot damage. '

They have said that the next planned demonstration will be a month from now on the 17th September.  Your continued prayers for this nation are so very much appreciated.
