Say hello to Mr Frank who is blind and part of our family support programme where we give him food to supplement what he can buy himself. He earns money by making and selling brooms. He has just received a new tin roof thanks to the Pontardullais Elim Church. His old roof made of grass was badly eaten by termites and with the heavy rains coming would most likely have collapsed. He can now sleep in safety and stay dry during the rainy season.
Here you can see Mai Omega a lady from the nearby village who is helping us with the shelling of the maize that was planted in our vegetable garden earlier this year.
This week we welcomed over 300 new chickens onto Hope Village and settled them into our newly built chicken shed. Unlike our first chicken shed we purchased the chickens when they were a little older to save money on food and already they have begun to lay a few eggs. So how do you like your eggs?
